I was 17 when I had mine removed.

Yes, It is probably better if you can wait.
You can take care of yourself better and know what is going on better than when you are younger.
My nephew got his out when he was 18 and he was roomies with a guy who was
26 years old.

yes my step daughter is 18 and has just had hers removed last week.
