Go to citizens advice bureau with all your receipts and contracts they will tell you if you can terminate your contract at any time or just at the end of each thirty day period.Sorry but i don't hold up much hope of getting out of this, these people usually know what they are doing and it is best to steer well clear of them, they pray on people with little income.
Good luck.

It depends what is written in the contract. I can't imagine it saying you have to give notice on an specific date in the month so long as you give 30 days notice.
Check it and if it says just 30 days notice, write to them enclosing a copy of your contract with the relevent sections highlighted and refuse to pay any more that you need to.
Good luck

If you checked the fine print, they probably needed your notice in writing. Try legal aid in the city where you live, also sometimes in the local TV market, there is a consumer help line on one of the local TV stations. Usually a threat of adverse publicity will make these guys give in.
Good luck.
In the future, don't rely on what the sales person tells you, as all they want to do is just get the sale.

File a complaint with your states Attorney General. Usualy just threatning to do that gets action. Google your state Attorney General. Most have websites you can file a complaint on or you can mail a written complaint. BBB is just a mediator & companies that do stuff like this usually don't care about thier BBB reputation. The attorney general gets action. Plus if enough people complain about something they take legal action against the company.

You're probably stuck for that much, but read the contract, it depends on what the contract says. Usually you'd be responsible for one full month payment beyond the partial month when you give notice.

If you have no proof of when you told them, you may be stuck. Take it as a lesson not to do business with these places. They're such a scam anyway, by the time you pay all the payments, you've payed in way more than the stuff is worth.

here in united statesa. we are coping with sons and daughters, 8 years old, who made a plan to kill their instructor and have been quite much waiting to hold it out. In yet another incident, a minimum of 8 young toddlers have been charged with kidnapping and assaulting yet another female whilst they videotaped it. it somewhat is interior the final 2 weeks, and that i could desire to flow on and on. television and internet are spoiling our teenagers, and that they could desire to be supervised whilst they watch it. Violence and sexuality are matters that are too mature for arising minds, and interior the pursuits of retaining our teenagers chuffed, we could desire to continually shield their innocence and the exhilaration of being a new child for as lengthy as we are in a position to. as much as now as disobeying and rebellling, all teenagers try this. it somewhat is a classic part of turning into an grownup and may well be expected. it isn't the mum and father' job to maintain the new child chuffed. it somewhat is the mum and father' job to guard the new child and make the confusing judgements, in spite of if the new child likes it or no longer.
