First you say there is no God at all.
Then say God's cruelty disgusts you.
Mixing these make you an oyx-MORON;
Not to mention your twice mentioning of God,
gives existence to God God: forsaken: Ps22...Mt27
Not to mention getting high on law is high-mindead,
which is biblically pretty much same as dble-mindead,
which is biblically UN-stable every way of law <--> law.
Can we move on, from being law law to being grace us?
Can we move on, from Law vs Law is as Loser vs Loser?
Ye are not under the law, but under grace, if led of the Spirit!

Well, I finally got over 40 rep-lies,
from both the atheists and x-ians.
Point: was not to make any wrong,
but to bring 'awareness' to you all.
If off ended, perhaps it was yer law,
for grace us ppl are never off ended.
I wouldn't be right to make any wrong, but rather I would be
above right(wing) wrongful convictions

Super-Natural? Is NOT Spiritual.
It's natural first, spiritual afterward.

Their mere presence here is proof they are looking for GOD. Praise the LORD.

I'll address the first part of your question. You are missing the point. When an atheist says that god's cruelty disgusts them, what they mean, is, they would have a hard time believing in a being whose cruelty has been shown to be such. We don't understand those that would worship such a being, therefore coming to the conclusion that he must not exist because a god would not be that cruel. But I think you knew that.

What we usually say is that the god described in the Bible is supposed be loving. However, the god described in the Bible has cruelty that disgusts us. Since a loving God would not be so cruel, this contradiction suggests the god described in the Bible does not exist. How can you believe in the oxymoron of a loving cruel god? Only if you are an oxy-MORON.

You're confusing things. We don't believe gods exist. However, some people have some beliefs about gods. Christians, for example, believe in a rather jacked up god. The actions that Christians attribute to this god are disgusting. IF he existed, he would be a real sucky deity.
And I guess we can conclude that gods do exist in the hearts and minds of some people, while they do not exist independently.

Look who's calling the kettle black. Well, you have to believe the drivel of the bible to answer this one. the poster's question was more directed at whether you believe christianity's version of god. No I do not. I believe god does not even know about christianity or other revealed religions. Where is your proof of miracles? Seems odd that the bible is the only source of jeezus' miracle. If they were true, the stories would be found in more places than the bible--excluding the manuscripts forged and falsified by the church over two thousand years of course. Where is your proof?
Christianity, the church where the lame do not walk, the blind do not see, and the deaf do not hear.

1. Right
2. The Christian/Jewish/Muslim god DOES disgust me- just because he's a fictional character does NOT mean that the influence of the character itself upon people is diminished.
People assuming it's real and doing it's work for it is enough to make it a real influence... whether or not the entity exists is a moot point in this case. The assumption of its existence is more than enough.
The atrocities committed by said character in that book make it no less than another monster. If you guys read any OTHER story about any OTHER character that acted like that- chances are you would HATE that character and recognize him as the bad guy in the story... and in this story- the bad guy won.

God is a fictitious character in a book, in that book HE does horrible things as Gods are prone to do. God is also a feeling that lives in the hearts and minds of believers.
The above is true on both counts, God is fiction, but to believers God is fact.
Any responses or questions that I ask recognize this to be true.

Duuuude....wait, what?
First of atheists say there is no God. They also say if the Christians are right about God, then God sucks (petty, cruel, unstable, etc.) They don't say God doesn't exist and God is cruel. They throw an if...then statement on it first. Now I don't know much about getting high but I don't think you can get high on law. In fact getting high is against the law in most places.

You obviously have a problem shifting from literal terms to hypothetical terms.
If you ask me about my belief in Gods the answer is that I don't believe in Gods including your God.
That is concrete literal speaking.
If we are talking about the God you believe in it is hypothetical.
It is no different than talking about the qualities of Capt. Ahab in Moby Dickt.
There is no conflict, it is not an oxymoron.
I still have enough of a grip on reality to understand that Gods are not real.

I only ask for evidence of the supernatural, and suspend belief until it is given.
If you have grace, do you think you might find a more graceful manner of expressing your ideas? Have you found insults an effective way of expressing your ideas in the past?

I don't know of any atheist who says that God's cruelty disgusts them.
I have only heard atheists say that the God described by some believers sounds like a disgustingly cruel one.
