Hi, It depends how effective the Frontline is,I have been using it on my 9 month old kitten for 5 months now and since then he has not had a single flea on him,Just remember to apply it to the skin only and one application lasts for one month. FLEA BOMBS DO WORK !!! I used some Bob Martins ones about 5 months ago and they have got rid of the fleas in my home 100% . I found sprays useless because you can never get in all the cracks and gaps and you don' t get enough coverage.

Yep cats are awful for getting fleas. Fronline isn't that good either. It works perfect on my two dogs but my kitten gets fleas everyother week and she is also frontlined. Its because it only kills the fleas I don't think it deters them from jumping on in the first place. I now bath my kitten whenever swhe gets them that seems to get rid of them then I put bob martin powder on her until the next time she gets frontlined and that seems to work but cats are a pain. If I had known I would have kept her as a house cat.

Considering animals don't even have to go outside to get fleas, yes.

Frontline only lasts a month, when was the last time she was treated? Did the stuff get properly on her skin, not fur?

Very likely to also need to treat your house. Frontline is good, but if you haven't treated your house you're likely to still see fleas. Get a proper house spray from a vets, not a pet store - bombs and foggers etc don't work. Keep the cat treated monthly with Frontline.

I have 6 cats and yes they can pick up fleas at 6 week old.
But if shes up to date with her flea and worming treatment, and innoculated then she will be ok.

As long as your cat has been treated with frontline then i think your kitten will be fine. When i had my kitten i used to let her out in the back garden but i hadnt treated her but she picked them up just from walking around my garden. So you have done the right thing by treating your kitten straight away.

Any mammal can pick up fleas in a matter of seconds. Even with the top flea control, your cat is still suspect to and insects and there bites. The best thing to do is keep you cat inside. Anything that your cat carries, can be carried on to you. Please be aware of that. Remember that your cat should be bathed every 2-3 weeks. Start the bathing process now, so it will be easier for you when she/he gets older.

yes--she could definitely get fleas in less time than that. Those little fleas are fast and are looking for food.I don't know how often frontline needs to be applied, but I would be diligent with it.

yes she could pick them up but if she has been frontlined the fleas will die a few hours after they jump on her.
