Do you need professional help or will an amateur do?

Because I am well versed in my Time/Life book series on home OB care.

I would never trust childbirth to an amateur using a how to book. Too many things can go wrong for mom and baby. This might be OK if you were stranded on a desert island and it was an emergency but why take a chance with others lives. If you dont want a hospital atmosphere you can always have a home birth with a midwife. Both options are safe.

That's good then you will understand what a professional is saying and you have the choice of a second opinion. Not Yours though.
