We are all children of God.
Was Jesus the "perfect" sacrifice? No. Human sacrifice was never acceptable to God.
Jesus became divine in the 4th century with the development of the Nicene creed. He was not considered to have been divine before that time. Read "Constantine's Sword" by Jamees Carroll for further information.

I believe we are all sons of god. Wonder what that does to the women?
Specifically, if we have the spark of god in us, then we should believe that spark is all good, etc. We still have choice and all that.
I imagine that there was no son of god in the old and no triune being either.
God is God, Jesus is Jesus. It is not Jesus God or God Jesus. Doesn't make sense except for argument. Good character in a book though.

Jesus is the Son of God, and He is also God incarnate (in the flesh). He is God Almighty! The Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. He was, and is and is to come! Savior, Redeemer, Prince of Peace, Morning Star, The Great I Am!

Joshua ben Joseph was a resident of what is now called Israel, and was a very orthodox Jew. Christians claim he was/is the son of God, and that his execution was a planned martyrdom, so that his innocent death could be used by his Father to forgive guilt.
This presupposes that the God of the Torah is, in fact, the all powerful and all knowing arbiter of our destinies that he is advertized to be. However, if God is omniscient, why would he need to father and martyr a child simply to forgive us the sins he already understands?
It doesn't make sense.

Jesus takes it up the *** from satan! Evil rules this world...look at America! Lets not tilly tattle around believing in myths, get wise and start acting like an intelligent race. A race that believes in peace rather than a civilization of weaklings believing in myths!

yes, read the book of Isaiah. There are many prophecies about the son that were later fulfilled. I am currently trying to study them myself. There is a book called, "Evidence that Demands a Verdict." The author was working on a paper to disprove Jesus and disprove he is the savior and son of God. Well...he couldn't and now he's a Christian.

There is a saying that the most logical answer is the right answer. If your daughter came home pregnant, but she swears that she is a virgin, your logical reaction would believe her to be a liar. Why is this any different. To me, a former Catholic who attended Catholic school, and has read the Bible many times, I believe the Bible to be illogical, and I find it odd that so many people believe so whole heartedly in a book written by a man.
