As a country, we need to stop demanding that the government fund so many things, then they'd need less money.

Each thing that any group asks for usually sounds like something desirable, but we need to get over the notion that if something is desirable, the government should give it to us, or taxes will keep continuing to rise.

You probably can't. The irresponsible policies of the current administration have lead to a situation where your great-great-great grandchildren will be paying off the current debt. There's only 2 ways to pay down debt -- cut spending or increase revenue.

FYI, US taxes are some of the lowest in the industrial world. Most Americans don't know how good they have it!

Don't vote for another spendaholic Republican like we have now. With "Tax and Spend Liberal Democrats" the national debt has gone down. With our "fiscal conservative" Republican president government spending is increasing at the fastest rate in the last 50 years.

We could decrease tax needs by doing away with schools, roads, bridges, police and fire protection, armies and navies, etc. Do you think those are good ideas?
