Either ask your friends to spread the word that you're not, or else just wait it out. In a week, they'll be gossiping about something else someone else did.

Honestly it is very hard to stop a rumor on something you can't prove. I been through hell when I was in high school and the only thing I really can tell you to do is ignore it. If you show these idiots that it bothers you and her as well then they will continue and come up with more stuff. After I graduated I found out a year later that rumors was still going around about me and one was that I slept with some one who I never even spoke to in high school. Serenity is blist.

First, pay more attention in English class. It's spelled rumor not "rumer".
Second, you can't stop it. People are going to say what they want to say. The angrier you get, the more true they think it is.

First of all, don't freak out. Just tell a teacher as soon as possible and in the mean time, calmly let people know that the rumours aren't true (if they ask). Don't confront the person who's spreading the rumours for now - just leave that to your teacher. Good luck!

If the two of you know it's not true then ignore everyone else. Let her know that you are not the one that started the rumor and you two have to let people know that it doesnt bother you. They will get bored and move on. Just pretend it never happened.

You guys just have to ignore it. If people see that it bothers you, they will continue to spread it. As long as you both know what's true and what isn't, that's all that matters. Let everyone else think what they won't. Evidently, they have no lives if they are that concerned about what you two are doing anyway.

I doubt you can stop it - rumors are decentralized and vague, so there's no one person that could put an end to it. The best thing you can do is ignore it and wait until it dies down on its own.

1. find out the person who started the rumor
2. Make sure there are alot of people, crowd of people around you.
3. beat the snot out of the kid
4. warn the people that watch the *** kicking if they spread anymore rumors about him this is what will become of you

the only way to get rid of a rumor is to ignore it. Rumors are never ending....Dont stress to much over it. After all, its only a rumor
