What do you care what your "boys" think, are you in a relationship with them? Wear it wherever you want to wear it, but if you're not just a ring person, you can wear it on a chain.

Your girlfriend gave you the ring because what you two share is very important to her. You should talk to your girlfriend and ask her where she wants you to wear it. and besides, your guy friends will always give you a hard time. AND you love her right, then don't listen to them, her thoughts and cares should matter more.

Get a chain and but it on a chain. I think it's the best place to wear it because it's close to your heart.
