I control my thoughts! I don't control my dreams! I control my thoughts as I am a thinking person and have something on my mind all the time. Usually about work or if I'm home then about what is going on or fun!!!!

If you believe in science, the answer should be that the laws of nature control your thoughts. Everything else is an illusion. In fact, isn't our experience that we are aware of our thoughts when they are formed and not of the process that forms them. So many aspects enter into the formation of a thought: the different aspects of the physiology, the inputs from the senses, etc. It's all automatic. We don't control it. We just experience the result.
Of course, the correct interpretation of the above is that my wife controls everything in my life.

You can't control yur thoughts. Your life and who you are controls them. Example: the other day I bumped into my bf from year 2. so I start thinking ''maybe i have another chance with him'' even though i only bumped into him and i knew i didnt have a chance in the world. lol.
and no matter how hard you try, your always thinking, even if its a really queit whisper, ts always there.
The only thing you can control with your thoughts, is the fact that you can control them into becoming words or actions.
Hope this helps.

My thoughts control me to a certain extent. Then when they get out of control, I control them right back.

My thoughts are constantly all over the place. I do have problems putting them in an order that I can understand. I don't think they control me though.

Well, I HAVE the thoughts, but I don't let them control me. Because I CAN'T let them, ya know?
Maybe this has something to do with the "free will" debate? Maybe?

Thoughts are tricky. Caveat: being aware of thoughts that are not your own-it's up to you to chose what action to take. Merely listening to this sort may mean you are not doing things to occupy your daily actions.
If you are psychic then you may be able to be aware of a source.
Makes me wonder if one can learn things just by thinking but that would lead to a realization that you're just listening to someone else.
All in all, it's up to you to ascertain direction and action depending on your experience.

My thoughts control me. I can't stop them, and I'm always thinking strange things, like, things I wouldn't actually say. All my dreams are vivid because of this and mostly nightmares. It creeps me out...
