When you are in starvation mode, your body will feel sluggish, and you may have chest pains or headaches. You will stop losing weight because body says, "She is starving me so im going to try and store all the calories i can in case she doesnt feed me again" . You can eat fewer calories but it depends on TWO IMPORTANT THINGS. First if you cut back on calories now, then when achieve your weight loss goal, and you eat normally again, you WILL gain some weight back. SO eating those 1000 calories a day has to be something you plan on doing for the rest of your life. Second, you should have your metabolism actually checked. I think Bally's Gyms do it, or see a doctor or nutritionist. There ARE some people whose metabolsm only burns 500-900 calories a day, so you eating 1000 calories might not be bad at all! SOme people's metabolism is excrutiatingly high, like my husband who is 6'6", and takes in about 3500 calories a day and doesnt gain a single pound. I Figure out these things, just stop when you get unhealthily skinny for your height and build!. Also taking a multivitamin, or even a flinstones vitamin for kids if your stomach cramps when you take a regular multivitamin. I am 5'7" and have a cousin that is 5'7" also. Our difference is our build, She has a small frame, small hands, size 5 shoe, 22 inch waist, small hips, but when you look at her at 120 lbs, she looks healthy, nowhere near skinny. Me I have a larger frame, size 10 shoe, wide hips, long fingers and a big head LOL, but at 120 I would look like a skeleton (with a big head)! My best low weight is about 130, 135. Best wishes on your weight loss journey

350 calories is too low.
Basic functioning of your body requires more fuel than you're giving it and you're going to weaken your immune system.
People on the biggest loser have regular medical monitoring.
Listen to your body and, if you start to feel run-down or irritable, increase your intake.
Losing weight isn't that difficult, keeping it off is what people have the biggest problem doing. Eat small portions several times a day and try to get at least 750 - 1000 calories of healthy food.

Who informed you that the Biggest Loser participants eat only 700 calories a day....cuz they LIED to you!!
They do however workout for 4+ hours everyday and resrict calories to 1200 - 1500 per day. THATS how they lose so much weight.
You ARE going to regret doing this to your body... your hair and teeth are not getting the nutrients they need and your hair could fall out, and your teeth could become weak and crack. You may end up thin, but you will be ugly as hell!
Check the website below. its free and will give you GOOD healthy weight loss tips!
Good luck!

With an intake of 350 cals a day, you're doing your body more harm then good. You'll gain the weight back as soon as you start on a more sensible, normal diet. That is if you live long enough to do that.

They also have a team of doctors on hand to monitor them extensively. Do you? Apart from your body going into starvation mode, you might also be doing damage to your liver and kidneys and brain and other organs. I'm not saying you ARE, but there is a reason why people die when they have too few calories.
Losing weight is one thing. Losing weight HEALTHILY is another. Make sure you don't get the two confused.

starving the body is the best way to lose both muscle and body fat. if you notice on the show they never mention the body fat %. so you don't know how much of the weight the contestant lose is water, fat or muscle.
go ahead and continue to make the biggest dieting mistake that millions before you have made. you metabolism will slow and when you do return to normal eating habits you "will" gain weight back and it will be fat...starvation mode is not a theory, it's proven science and a basic function of human metabolism.

OK, I won't tell you.
But I will tell you that you're not taking in enough to prevent cannibalization of muscle.
I'll also tell you that you're not taking in enough to fuel brain function. Of course this should be obvious from your spelling, grammar, and choice of TV entertainment. If you do this long enough, often enough, the brain damage can become permanent.
As for exercising hard, I doubt it. Your body can't convert fat fast enough to support any significant aerobic work.

one of the first things Bob Harper teaches is that you have to fuel the body to do those vigorous exercises... so i believe you are misinformed about how many calories they eat....
you are eating waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too few calories...
i'm not worried about your body going into starvation mode and that you quit losing weight...
i am worried that you are anorexic and will die....
get help for your eating disorder very soon....
