:Giska á hvaða tungumál

It 'looks' Icelanding yet I have done numerous translation searches which has brought back nothing. Only 2 words which would be 'what' and 'language'. However, still not confirming which language it actually is.
Many thanks for all your help! :0)

This is definitely Icelandic, but it seems like something is missing from that sentence or it's out of context. This sentence means "to guess in which language".

Maybe Icelandic, meaning, "Guess what language?"
Almost a guess, but the last word is recognised as a nordic word meaning "language", and the modified "d" character is used to represent "th" sound in old Norse and modern day Icelandic.

First off, that looks Icelandic to me...

I googled the word 'tungumál,' and was led to is.wikipedia.org, which is the the Icelandic language wikipedia site.

It directed me to an article on 'tungumál,' and I selected English on the left, which led me to the English wikipedia page for 'tungumál,' which was 'language.'

So yes, that is Icelandic!

Yeh I'm quite sure that's icelantic, because I have seen the letter 'ð' in Icelantic texts, but not other Scandinavian writing.
