no religion is a false way of rules that need to be done to be accepted of God

no sacraments needed
no water needed to be saved
no Pope
No praying to false gods like Mary
Christianity is JEsus, God in the flesh, dying on the cross to pay for your sins. He accepted you first and paid it all for you

Although religion is often manipulated by the government to take advantage of the people, it was not originally created by the government. The government sees that there are those who are weak and fanatically adherent to their religion, and takes advantage of that to carry out its own agenda. This has happened in history countless times (Egypt, medieval Europe, Cortes and the Aztecs, etc.) and to a more subtle and sneaky extent, it happends today. But religion is something that man made to feel comfortable with and to answer questions about the world around him. Then, since the 'first religion,' they have evolved in human society almost as naturally as language. Throughout the ages, however, religion and governement have been so intertwined that it it often quite difficult to tell the difference. There was even a point in time (and still in today, in parts of Asia and the Middle East) where religion was the government; the head of the church was also the head of the country, like the Pope was in Rome, or Muhammad somewhat in the Middle East.

No, the government has nothing to do with religion.
And where does this mind control stuff come from? People are hardly controlled by religion...maybe a few...but the majority are not. Even some who say they belong to a certain faith, such as Catholicism, reject the teachings of the Church and do what they want. So...from what I can see no one is being controlled.

i do not know but I've heard that said before and it makes some since. but if religion isn't true i still think it provides good lesion for our kids and a good support group to ppl that need it so i don't mind it really.

my dear friend ........governments of the world are trying to unleash evil.. ....stopping prayers in the schools ,promoting abortion ,encouraging sex among teens , drug uses,homosexuality,atheism ...but they all do it behind the name of relegion ,peace and equality ............if government takes out relegion in one step people go suspicious instead they try to promote evil under the mask of true believers....

Nope the government uses subliminal messages on the T.V. tube for their mind control. the Church uses it for Money through mind control. LOL!
