Where do most people get information about Islam?
From Books written by 'experts' on Islam who have the secret ambition of destroying Islam???
From the Biased, Unfair Media that has always spread lies about Islam???
On YA, by reading comments by likewise people who DONT know what Islam REALLY is???

If an "Extremist Muslim" were to attack another Muslim or even an innocent people (such in the case of sept 11th) then we MUST eliminate the problem. It would be our duty as practicing Muslims to defend. Unfortuantly though because my countries response to attacks by these people who claimed to be Muslim is misguided for the most part, as in the case of Iraq, an innocent country now torn to pieces, I have not acted. The reason I put "Extremist Muslim" in quotations is because a true follower of Islam is NOT to act in an extreme manner. Much like the issue in northern Ireland, those who have murdered in the name of God are not acting in a Christian manner, "Muslims" who are unjust and murdering people are not acting in an Islamic manner. Justice is supposed to be a key componant of Islam. Islam is supposed to be a religion of moderation, it is not supposed to be extreme. Here is a hadith about moderation: Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The deen (best translation of this word deen is religion) is easy. Anyone who makes the deen too hard on himself will find it becomes too much for him. So aim for what is right, follow a middle path, accept the good news of the reward for right action, and seek help [to reach your goal by being constant in worshipping] in the morning, evening and some of the night."[al-Bukhari] We are to fight injustice, so it isn't Islam we are fighting but those who are practicing hate, intolerence and oppression but calling it Islam.

Okay , I guess your question is broad and doesnt lead to any speicif conclusion . Your question is ambigious as to what you are asking.
Per my understanding you are asking that Should it be against law to Critize or mock KORAN(QURAN) ?
The answer is yes ,
We need to put a line as to there the critisim should start and where it would stop.
Otherwise we would only get tillion of forums with atheists trying to proove that they are scientific guys and we and other people like Christians and Jews are fairy tales believers.

It is punishable offense in Muslim country that has Shariah laws for Muslim offender. If a person is non-Muslim and says bad words against Prophet and Quran in Muslim country, people may get mad and beat him up or may him/her out of their country.
They may not throw him/her in jail because no one taught him/heer how to respect Prophets. Such person is premused to deserve punishment in hell any way.

I'm not a muslim but I have an opinion. If it's against the law to blaspheme against Christ (as I understand it still is), then muslims should have equal rights for their prophet and holy book.

Unfortunately, you can only poll the tiny tiny minority of english speaking Muslims with internet access. The vast majority of Muslims, dont speak english or have internet access.
No question, the majority not only believe it IS against the law, but also believe you should be put to death for it.
