Oh I suppose I should say mine. LOL I love the sense of connection I have with family and other Heathens. We are big on community and family, it very central to our faith. There is a real internal peace that comes with that.

My favorite tradition or practice?
Definitely the Eucharist (receiving the actual body and blood of Christ as He promised in Scripture)

I like the community a whole lot. I could tell stories upon stories about how wonderful, generous, and caring the church community where I grew up was.
I also really like a lot of the historical art and music.
I don't have a denomination.

Free will, flexibility, open-mindedness, using what works only for myself instead of having to use what works for others, making up my own rituals, the fact that there is no strict dogma or unanswered questions, and the fact that I can practice solitary.
I also appreciate the facts that nature, universe, and the spirit world are honored.
Interesting queestion.

I appreciate lots of aspects of my religion - all of them really! But the one thing that I probably really appreciate that many other religions don't have is that my gods and goddesses are family - they are to be treated with respect like the elders of any family, but don't require groveling. They are not jealous gods who punish humans for vanity. Hail the Aesir! Hail the Vanir!

The part where they told me that all of the babies born in other countries that had never heard of my religion were going to go to hell.
This caused me start to think critically about what they were telling me.
I eventually realized that either the God that they had been telling me about was an idiot, or they had been lying to me. I finally decided that God was probably not an idiot, they were just liars.
I thank them for what they did, it opened my eyes and changed my life for the better. Now I have a close personal relationship with God without any judgmental religious Nonsense to mess it up.
Love and blessings Don

I am non-religous and follow my own path. I believe that everything is divine in nature and that God is everywhere. I have a deep appreciation for life and see it as in invaluable gift given to us. I also try to learn as much as I can about other spiritual/religious beliefs. The way I see it, life is about diversity and we should embrace it.
