For the state, and the big island of Hawaii, it is pronounced as Hawaii, or sometimes with a 'v' - havaii. The island of Kauai is pronounced very similar to Hawaii with a "K".

It is Hawaii and i believe you are talking about Kauai (kawaii).

You're so silly. There are several islands... Maui, Oahu, Hawaii (known as the Big Island) and Kauai (pronounced Kauai).
