i bought a top from ebay. I bought it for something like $19.50 and it retails for about $55. The top is brand new with tags but it is white.

So... i received the top in the mail today and because it is white it has make up on it where someone has tried it on before. It is mainly on the inside but there is some on the front as well...

Should i leave positive, negative or neutral feedback? I dont want to be mean and im sure the make up will come out in the wash somehow

if it wasn't mentioned in the description, you should not leave positive feedback. but before leaving negative feedback, let the seller know that you are not too happy.

Contact the seller about the problem. If you don't like the way the seller responds to the problem, then consider leaving neutral or negative feedback. By the way, if you want to know a way to get back money every time you buy something on Ebay, then send me an email.

I wouldn't want to give positive feedback, but negative would be overkill. Might be a good situation for neutral feedback, but I'd definitely e-mail the seller first and ask if they realized it had makeup. Once I bought a textbook described as Like New, but it was full of highlighting and notes. I e-mailed the seller, a "friends of the library" group, and the group leader appreciated finding out that her volunteers were being careless in their listings. She gave me a discount on my next purchase from them.

Have you contacted the seller?

What does the auction state? What type of condition did it say it was in?

Don't leave negative, unless the item was stated as "New In Box With Tags".

Leave neutral or positive.

Talk to the seller first. Or give us the auction link.

Well it depends, did they state that it has makeup on it? If so then leave a positive feedback. If they didn't state that it had makeup on it but you still like the shirt, then leave a neutral feedback state that you like the shirt BUT there was makeup on it..just be honest so others buying from them wont be surprised if they receive something with a similar problem.

Ebay straight away deliver the shopper a reminder in the event that they have not left feedback in the dispensed time, I do agree in spite of the undeniable fact that that it relatively is barely courteous to the employer to flow away feedback if a competent service has been recieved. perhaps drop him an digital mail to examine that he has won the object in good undertaking to on the spot a reaction from him.

I'd give it a neutral feedback because if it didn't say anything about make-up stains on the description then you didn't get what you ordered. Just say it in a nice way. Hope the make-up comes out for you.

Try to wash it out first. Then if it comes out you should leave positive feedback with a note that says item was not exactly as it was stated. However, if it does not come out you should leave negative. No one should have to deal with that.

e-mail the seller and ask for a discount. If they didn't mention on their advert that there were make up marks all over it, then they have misrepresented the item. See what they say, if they are not helpful then file a dispute and escalate. If you paid using paypal, then they will decide what happens and they might even get you a full refund. Good Luck

I STRONGLY suggest before you leave a negative feedback or whatever kind of feedback, that you contact the seller of your item and discuss it with them. Sometimes they can give you your money back if you are not satisfied with the item in exchange that you not publish a bad feedback rating. So work it out with them.
