It would help to know what you are doing now and what you are applying for. Bilingual employees are in demand with many companies. If you still have access to your college's alumni office see if they will review your resume and cover letter. Ask some business people who you respect to review these also. For every job ad there are hundreds of people who apply. You need a way to stand out in the crowd to at least get an interview. The only way to do this is through your resume and cover letter.

I wish I could give you a good answer. Like you, I am bilingual, with a B.A. in Journalism/Public Relations, computer and office equipment savvy. My work ethic is strong and so is my knowledge horizon. However, I live in Atlanta, Georgia. You can't get hired in PR and Marketing unless you are 25, tattooed, and string together random words linked with "awesome" and "like." Some have slipped up and admitted it's my age. Now I easily pass for 20 years younger than my age, plus I am in shape and dress professionally.

I am working as a concierge by day and do contract freelance work for people younger than me. They get credit for my work by people who love my work, but think someone much younger produced that brilliant copy for their business. How demoralizing!

Look at jobs that have a direct impact on the bottom line. A great example is sales. You might not like sales, but it pays extremely well once you learn what you're doing.

Similarly, look at marketing jobs. Help other people sell goods and services. When you impact the bottom line, you make more money.

You could also do work online; start your own online business or provide support to folks who do internet marketing.

I do a lot of internet marketing work. If you're interested, I'd be happy to talk to you via email. Contact me and reference this Yahoo Answers page...

Upon reading your question. Consider proof-reading your resume and application before turning them in. Ask a teacher or career counselor to look at it as well. I have noticed that you may have an issue with capitalization and punctuation.

Sentences, paragraphs and questions begin with capital letters. Example

What am I doing wrong?

What jobs are you applying for and does your college experience mean a degree? Maybe you are applying above your education and experience? Do not know without more information
