I had that happen, but it was the other way around. I got the letter of death; we selected another candidate that better suited our needs blah-blah-blah.
Then two days later I received a call from the guy I interviewed with. Came up with this story of how great a candidate he thought that I was and I would be a good fit, then I think he figured out his mistake, cause he came back with if I have a need in the next six months can I call you?
Talk about getting slammed twice. I have yet to apply to another job as I am so defeated.

Jobs is all in numbers mate, never put all your eggs in one basket. If you're seriously job hunting then you should have applied for so many places that you always seem to be rushing to interviews. If what had happened to you happened to me i wouldn't mind because i've already got loads of interviews to attend. Doing this also means that you don't have to take the first thing that comes up.
Make a really good cv, visit recruitment agencies, Post your CV on monster.com/uk/where ever you live and do at least an hours job hunting if not more every day. Just get them out out out and the will start coming in. Make lots of CVs to, the can all be roughly the same but keep them in different folders and change them for certain industries, i've got administration ones, art and design/marketing ones and retail to name a few. Also keep a copy of any covering later you may have made. Good luck mate.

Whoever told you yesterday is a prat , they should only confirm a job offer when it is definite . I hope they at least gave you a good reason for the apparent change of mind !! ??
As for getting a job , then there is no easy way , it is hard graft , applying for jobs which you think are suitable , hopefully getting interviews where you have the chance to impress you are right for the role.
Above all when you are successful the management don't change their mind !!
Good Luck

Well they can't say you got the job and then tell you they made a mistake. Thats just immoral.
Tips on getting a job. do your home work first- that means go onto the net and look up these companies getting background info on what it is they do= then get yourself down the job centre and get as many application forms as you can.
make appointments then dress smartly and do your stuff. Confidence and a smile plus smartly dressed and knowledge of the company you have the interview with-- you cant lose

Why did they tell you that you havent got the job when they told you that you had, i would complain as that is really unfair.Hope you find a job soon and dont let that make you down in the dumps, who would want to work for people like that if they treat you badly, you better than them. Good luck.
