LOL Sawadeekaa!
Cats all speak the same language and understand each other very well.. THey also learn a bit of English. My cats DEFINITELY know their names, and "NO!"
That's like an american adopting an infant from Thailand and thinking that they must learn Thai or their baby won't understand them! If they speak english to the infant.. it will grow up speaking english and have no clue about Thai..

You would need to check with a Siamese cat for the correct answer.she may get 10 points for the best answer ,if other cats learnt the language ,i doubt they could compete with a siamese ,after all it is their native tongue .

My sister has a Siamese and a Himalayan. They hate each other. It could be the language barrier. However they both seem to communicate well with my sister...especially at meal time.

I'm going to answer this as if you were serious.
Siamese cats were first bred in southern Russia in the 1700's.

Cats and dogs understand the language their owners speak, not the language of their ancestors. They understand each other fine.

Most cats "speak" about the same language...but your cat may take some getting used to. She may be used to English and understand fairly well your motives....cats are like humans, they learn the language theyre most exposed to.

I have a Persian cat, and am learning Persian so that we can communicate better. She asked me to ask George Bush not to bomb her country and kill all her kitty kousins.
So how about it George? If you won't listen to all those people, then maybe you'll listen to my kitty kat?
