Most people seem to use cut and paste prayers, for them God/Goddess has nothing to give. A true prayer comes up out of the heart and *is* granted immediately. As the source knows itself. Road Runners know how to do this. ~ : )

Any prayer coming from the core of the heart with a clean mind is granted immediately.

God is not a genie. He doesn't grant you wishes. Prayer should be sincere and come from the heart. If you are going through something terrible just talk to God and in your prayer ask for him to deliver you from such hardships. Know that God does not deliver on a half-hearted selfish prayer. He knows your heart and your intentions. If it is sincere and from the heart, He will take care of it when you need it the most. Remember, everything happens for a reason.

There are several prayers to different Gods and Goddesses to get solutions depending upon our problems.

What I feel the best prayer is to help a needy and deserving fellow being in distress to the best of our abilities wholeheartedly without anticipating any return from him even at our inconvenience.

First remember, we are a soul not the body.

The soul is a power of God and hence divine. Body is material.

When you go to a sweets shop, you ask for sweets, not shoes. Hence, when praying to God, ask for divine blessings not material.

The ultimate goal of soul (our ultimate goal) is to achieve God's presence, God's abode, God's love and God's service. This is what will make the soul happy. So asking for these is the best prayer.

If God gives you these, the hunger for material things goes away automatically. As you progress in the path towards God, the hunger for material things will keep coming down and the hunger to see God will go on increasing.

Prayer itself pleases God. But there is no secret formula to persuade Him to grant something immediately. If it is not in His timing or His will not matter you pray and how much it will not make Him grant it.

A prayer from the heart, a prayer of thanksgiving for His grace and love.

There is no prayer to 'control' God, or to make Him do what you want Him to. Only, His perfect will because He knows what is best for our lives. Acceptance of His will is the perfect prayer.

The prayer should be based On The Word of God. We have to know God's Promises to us and our prayers have to be directed to God In The Name of Jesus (The Only One Through Whom We have access to God's Presence).
The Word of God Is Spirit and Life. God NEVER acts out of His Words.

A prayer is a Prayer. There is no gradation like good better best. Any Prayer with full devotion and (Bakthi) and asks for his grace is a best prayer. You ask for only Gnana, Bakthi and Vairagya. You should not ask for any material gain. He knows what to give when to give and how to give. I What you get depends upon your KARMA .
