It's a matter of which side of the road you drive on, I would always put an infants seat behind the passenger seat, that way it's protected by the passenger seat, and oncoming traffic hitting you head on, usually hit the drivers side of the car in a impact. Have a great day.

If not located in the middle of the back seat, then the passenger side is the preferred position. This is because its then possible to load and unload the child from the safe side of the car - away from traffic.

Yes, If you are riding in the car by yourself with the child it would be best to put them in behind the passenger seat, so that you can keep and eye on them easily. If there is another passenger its doesn't really matter because they can help you out.

Its all preference i'd say
But putting the seat in the center is a TERRIBLE idea,. In the event of a crash, the child could very easily slide out of the seatbelt and fly through the gap in the seats

i'm undecided while you're utilising a van, automobile or SUV. the two way, while you're in an component-on collision, i might definately say the middle seat may be the main secure place on your toddler. many human beings assume simply by fact they have an SUV that it is not considerable the place the automobile-seat is going, yet SUV's are additionally a greater probable place-over automobile. In that undertaking, the middle seat is the main secure besides. i'm no longer attempting to scare you, yet in basic terms questioning of scenerios the place a automobile seat might definately be safer in the middle. I surely have 2 babies, so unavoidably in our SUV the two one among them are in the part seats. In our van, they each get a center seat (one in the middle row, one in the back). i'm awaiting quantity 3, so we are ditching the SUV and going for yet another van. additionally, in case you have a base for the carseat, you incredibly do no longer might desire to fuss with the surely seat belt itself each time you get out and in of the automobile. needless to say, you (or your husband) ought to examine that is tightness each now and then. Ask your husband to place in a base in the middle, and it will make your existence lots much less annoying. As for the technician, i might say he does not have your youngster's risk-free practices in strategies. except there's a seatbelt illness in the middle seat, or the carseat does not greater healthful extraordinary simply by automobile layout, the middle seat is lots greater risk-free.

Read the manual. If it doesn't specify a side, I'm sure it doesn't matter. But, as a safety feature, put it on the side which makes it easiest for you to see the child. Usually behind the passenger seat.
