You live then you die that's all there is to it. Nothing before it nothing after, so you make the most of it while your here.

you will not understand this my dear until it happens to you
you just get tired of it all . the body is not feeling as good / you are satisfied you have sampled the life and enjoyed all the pleasures that it has to offer . you are ready for your next destination. i have a great inheritance and am a child of a king of kinds. i have a brand new house / mansion in heaven waiting for me. i'm going to get a brand new heavenly body. i am going to a place that has NO TEARS ... no one will ever cry / suffer. THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING VACATION plan ... where on earth can you find this ?
really for a christian , the loss is for the living ones left . the winner is the person that has made it home. my father has been very clear ... there will be a party thrown . i know that i will want a party thrown when i am done. it is something you probably don't understand ... i only understood in the last year dealing with a serious health issue. your heart will know that you have accepted jesus and are ready to go home.

first not just the old die. second.. that is the way it has been..since the beginning. that is why you make the very most out of life while here. living every day like it is your last. and treating people the best you can. but look at the alternative. it would be pretty crowded.. if no one died... and who would take care..of all those people. smiling. enjoy your life and stop worrying about something you cannot change

No, my heart pumps blood, it doesn't have anything in it that alters my way of thinking. Not sure where you got that idea.
Death isn't fun but going about saying "Hey, when you die you don't really die, you just go somewhere else" without ANY evidence except for the beliefs of your elders is idiotic. I'd rather live in accepting fear than wishful ignorance.

No there is nothing in my heart that tells me that. What you have in your heart is fear. Is it not just human arragance that make people think there must be an after life? My dog doesn't have this problem, and he's happy enough.

Once you get old? people die too young all the time.
I believe that when I die (from whatever cause) it is because I am suppose to. Maybe my aim in life is to change the opinion of one person, but if that is it, then so be it.

As I age I accept death much more readily than when I was young. Even now I can look forward to going home and being with God and my family members who have passed. I do not look forward to the pain of dying, but death does not scare me.

One thing you find out quickly when studying the Bible is that God definitely has a plan for "everyone". It may or may not be what you expect it to be but in the end, if you love Him all will be rewarded beyond our wildest dreams!

I love living and wish there was an eternal life. However, I know that no amount of wishful thinking can give me eternal life. My best hope is science, but Im afraid that religion stands in the way of science reaching such heights.
So, ironically, its the wishful thinking of religion that prevents us from having what we made-up religion for in the first place.
