Why do you think there's asbestos in the smoke of these fires?
I doubt there is any asbestos at all to be found in the smoke.

Probably not. It depends on the ages of the homes and buildings that have burned. Asbestos has not been used in building materials in decades. I was under the impression that most of the homes in the area of the fires were newer construction (less than 20 years old).
I don't believe the brush and wood in the trees contains any asbestos, so there wouldn't be any danger there. The only danger, in my unprofessional opinion, would be from an old home that contained some asbestos siding or something.
This would be a good question for your state Department of Environmental Quality. (DEQ)

No. The only asbestos would be from any homes old enough to have been built using asbestos. Given the scale of the fires, that would be an extremely tiny factor, if ther's any at all.
