I think it is funny, as his parents have obviously decided that they would rather raise him in Canada.

I am proud to be Canadian. I don't feel the need to judge other countries in order to make me feel better about Canada. I know it is a great country, and I know there are many great countries in the world. Each is different, some I like more than others, but they all have something to contribute if we take the time to find out what it is.

It's pretty offensive but it's pretty much what I always see coming from Americans.
Arrogance.
And no, we're not jealous of the US. We don't live under a fascist regime, nor do we have to empty out all of out funds if (god-forbid) we happen to get sick.
