It's not wrong, you would be praying in line with the will of God, remember Jesus taught us to pray that ' your will be done on earth......' This includes healing prayers. We are asked to pray for healing. Some people have a ministry for healing, but any Christian can pray. Just be sure not to promise that God will definately heal anyone you offer to pray for, because He doesn't heal everyone, and anyone who appears to be healed should always get a doctor to confirm it.
Keep asking God for the gift of healing and wait and see what happens, He may have a different ministry for you. I also desparatley wanted to be used for healing, but God said no, I am to have a different gift. However, I have seen God heal people through my prayers at times, so keep going.

Problem is mysticism is mysticism no matter what name you cal it. the Supernatural is the supernatural no matter how you disguise it. Christians have practiced the occult for hundreds of years but they call it bible miracles, but if you look at the bible miracles you find there is much difference in what the bible claims and what modern day miracle believers experience. /In the bible healing was instant and Jesus and his followers never failed. The dead was raised, arms and legs grew back. this has not happened since the first century.
If you look at the methods used in Christian miracles you find it is the same as us in the occult use, there is no difference.
I will retract my words when some Christian can show me positive proof that the dead are raised after 4 days in the grave, when arms and legs grow back when healing takes place without medical attention.

Believing in God includes the acceptance of the negativity with the same appreciation as positivity, its difficult to think so seeing someone suffer, but "supernatural" has same explanation for the people suffering: nothing come undeserved. And its not meant in a bad way as many people think. This world is much more fair then many of us might think!
PS: i do believe there is a power above us, but bible was changed many times during history by different leaders to rule "mortals", i believe in God who loves and whos intentions to cherish not to punish, but the the morals and ethics of people are not ready yet for the freedom and happiness we all talking about. unfortunately we do need "lessons" and lots to learn.

I do believe it is wrong to crave the presence of God.
There is so much to be grateful for, so much positive work to be done, so much life to appreciate, that it is silly to beg the question. It is ungrateful to demand a supernatural being when the natural ones are here in the current moment.
It is self-defeating to reject all one has in favor of fantasy.

Lord is perfect and there is nothing good or bad in it. It's THUSNESS or THIS IS SO. It's mind, which makes the things positive and negative. Prayer should not be based upon (direct or indirect) greed and fear.

The concentration camps were full of people crying to god, praying, wanting the lord to heed their call.
It didn't work then, it wont work for HIV/AIDS
God(s) is an imaginary nebulous concept which reside solely in the imagination of humans

your time would be much better spent actually doing something about HIV or AIDS, such as working for/ donating to a charity that tries to increase awareness about it in places where its needed (such as sub saharan africa.)
PRAYING CANNOT CURE AIDS.

Yes, very wrong. Jesus says, "an evil and adulterous generations seeks for signs, and no signs will be given." Today we live by faith , not by sight.
