I know that you can't leave the OSUT training when you're going to be enlisted after you graduate, but what about the normal training? My boyfriend is doing MOS training at the moment, and I just recently found out that I'm pregnant. I can't even talk to him about it, and the situation has gotten to the point that he really wants to come home. He's not joining the army right now, he's just training now in case of enlistment later. So, can he come home? Or would that still be considered a felony?

umm, some fallacies in your argument.. if he is in training, he has enlisted. period. NO he will NOT be allowed to leave before finishing unless it is during the 2 week stand down in December when all the schools shut down for the holiday. sicne you are not married, you do NOT exist in the eyes of the military and your situation does not qualify to have him come home. Heck even if you WERE married, it wouldn't qualify unless the baby's or you life was in danger. Normal pregnancy is not a reason to take leave.

If He is a Reservist, once he is done training, he will return to his home unit and drill as per usual until that unit is called up to deploy. If he is Active Duty, once he is done with training he will be assigned a new duty station.

Sorry, he is in the Army. You don't go to MOS training and not be in.

You two better learn to be away from each other. Whether regular Army or Guard/Reserve, he will be deployed someplace. Just a question of when and where. The two of you should have thought about missing each other before he joined.

If he is in training, he will be in the army when he is done, because i dont know what you mean by "normal" training. He should be able to call you on the phone while he is in training. If he leaves, it is called AWOL. thats no good for him and the baby.

He can walk away and go AWOL and mess evrything up for you and the baby! then what?
Is that what you want?
Let him finish his training then he can take the responsibility for your future.
unless, if the pregnancy was unplanned and he's in denial!
