Layers----?

Question

Do layers look nice on you? I have medium brown hair and i don't have layers. Would they look nice on me?

Layers look nice on some people.I don't think layers look good on people with stick straight hair.They look best on people with semi wavy hair.Dint have the layers too short,especially if you need to tie up your hair sometimes,the top layers never fit in a "pony".I have dark brown wavy hair which comes to my shoulder blades and I have long layers about shoulder length and I like them.It gives my hair body and looks more "styled" then plain long hair.Layers need to be trimmed regularly in order to maintain the style.

Layers, as a general rule, look better on most people compared to a one length cut (although without seeing you, it's tricky to answer!). However, there are several things you'd need to ask yourself from a practical level. First off, how often can you afford to get your hair cut. Layers left unmaintained look untidy after about 6 - 8 but you could get away with being lower maintainance with one length. Also, if you like to tie your hair back a lot, you might be best without as short layers won't go back properly.

Layers might look good on you, but so might all one length. It would be good to ask your stylist, they usually know! There is not such thing as one look looks best on anyone, so don't fall for that.
