No. If they want to get paid they should get a job. We are all sharing here, not making money.

Nope, it should be free. It gives people the opportunity to be altruistic rather than money-grabbing... although having a points system, leaderboard etc. provides enough impetus for those who want to inject some competitive element into the forum. Plus, it's all part of the internet gift culture in a way, being able to give (and receive) electronically. Sharing knowledge is definitely a gift!

You're considered a learned individual. Think of its positive side.
Which do you prefer:
a relaxed person with this diversion of interactive sharing OR
a person with nothing good to do but having drugs...
Suggestions: just be cautious to distill the answers of all the members with proper respect.
Not all answers will satisfy you questions.
Good Luck and Continue to Share your Time...

I agree with you that Yahoo is getting something but we are also using the yahoo engine in some ways which benefit us members.
But again you have the good point somehow the Yahoo admin may ponder on this and may provide give aways to deserving ones.

Knowledge though earned should be freely shared. People still have to obey the rules by asking the question, waiting for the results and then studying the multiple answers seeking out whats appropriate. Sounds to me like the asker does more work than the answerer.

Unfortunately it is impossible to tell the educated from the morons. Unless you mean being able to use the spell checker.

Yes. But they won't do that, because they would have to charge for the service. Then you would have to learn how to do your own web searches.
