to discuss if there is any chance that I would reconsider my decision! I told him that I am accepting another job offer in another company but the truth is I haven't even found a job yet.
But I am on the lookout for new job. I really don't want to work here.
I'm sure he will ask me the name of 'the company that I'm going to work for'. I dont know what to say!
And I'm sure he'll try to talk me out of this decision I made. The real reason I wana quit is this job really doesnt suit me. I made a wrong choice.
Pls help me out on this. I dunno what to do!

He thinks that I'm a good worker, maybe that's why he don't wanna let me go.

When your boss comes to speak with you have a few sentences in mind that you are going to say. Don't let him engage you. Here are some ideas:

I've given my decision a lot of thought.
I'm not going to change my mind.
This is the best decision for me.
I don't feel comfortable sharing the particular details with you.

You worked for this company and were paid for your services. This boss might try and lay the guilt trip on you, making your decision personal instead of business. Don't let him do that - stick to your guns.

I have to ask, why did you give two months' notice? I know you are uncomfortable there and in a job search right now but you could have set yourself up for eight weeks of "please don't leave us, we need you" type pressure. If you decide to work out this notice you need to stay strong and not let people pressure you to change your mind.

And here's one last thought - if the company were going through troubles do you think your boss would give even a second thought to letting you go?

I think you should admit in a polite way that you are not comfortable in your current job and explain why. Clearly he's concerned and wants to keep you on. He might change your job to help you, or find you another job in the company or with a related company. People make wrong choices, and if you're nice about it I don't think he'd take it as an insult that you don't like working there.

You don't have to tell him the new company, just say your not happy there. They may even have a different job in line for you as they obvi don't want to let you go....you must be doing something good there and they want to keep you. Is their not a different role you would like to do at your place or is it the other people you work with cos i think your boss could wanna offer new position and perhaps more money...just listen to what he has to say and be honest..

First - it relies upon on the state. In Michigan, an company has to have a good reason to discharge you. you will possibly be fired for any reason, yet your reward only isn't denied if the boss did not have a good reason to fireplace you. in spite of the shown fact that - it does take time, however the Employment place of work is in many cases fantastically good approximately it, and the advantages are paid retroactively in the event that they discover on your desire. that's not from examine, that is from very own journey in Michigan. better of success.

It is actually not legal for him to ask you the name of the other company so if he ask you then just say that you are entertaining several other offers, not exactly lieing, also you could weigh the options of how much money it would take to keep you there and see if he would give you that much or maybe more, good luck

Quitting in two months, nice bluff but I think they already know that is what it is because no one gives a two month notice. If he accepts it then you be out of a job and not be able to collect unemployment because hey you quit..

Just tell him you no longer feel like you are the right person for your job so it's time to move on; and you hope he'll write you a good reference ;)
