"A proverb (from the Latin proverbium) is a simple and concrete saying popularly known and repeated, which expresses a truth, based on common sense or the practical experience of humanity. They are often metaphorical. A proverb that describes a basic rule of conduct may also be known as a maxim. If a proverb is distinguished by particularly good phrasing, it may be known as an aphorism." - Definition of a proverb from Wikipedia.org

I want to know, fact or opinion, why and/or how they were created.

This is not about Proverbs from the Bible. If you would have actually read this, you would have known.

It's good to know that you know how to copy and paste, but did you stop and think for a moment that a proverb is really nothing more than something a man thought would be a good idea to write down so that people would do what he wanted them to do and agree with him? The whole bible is man-dribble and nonsense. Man wanted to control women without using the excuse, "because we're bigger and tougher than you are" for telling them what to do and pushing them around. They wanted women to think that there was a supreme being that thought men were the leaders. Proverbs are just something that someone wrote. They aren't special and they don't mean anything. Sure, some of them are good ideas, but even Donald Trump(the ***-face) says things I agree with. That doesn't mean he's spoken to God.

Proverbs exist in ancient Egyptian, Chinese, Indian, Persian, as well as Greek texts.

They are short pieces, designed to make the reader/ listener think about their meanings. Containing a degree of obscurity, as well as stating the obvious.
