Try a bacon and fresh pear crisp! The combination of smoky, salty rich flavor with the crisp sweetness of the pears under a brown sugar pecan streusal and topped with vanilla ice cream might just do the trick!

Hmmm....
I don't really know of a bacon dessert. However, the following appetizer could be substituted.

Bacon wrapped dates.
Wrap bacon around dates and bake (like you would do bacon wrapped scallops).

They are delicious and I don't even like dates (normally).

try this ,vanilla ice cream with bacon bits. bake the bacon (semi golden brown) wait till crisp.(remove the fat first before baking so not to become oily) dry then toss with caster sugar or icing sugar strain in a sieve then sprinkle onto the top of ice cream.(if you have ice cream maker mix the bits up to the last minute. or try fried ice cream with bacon bits.(just add the bits with the batter for coating.)
