Suspension?

Question

Anyone into suspension?
Theres a huge suspension scene where I live, and I keep hearing about it, and I must admit...I'm intrigued.
I'd love to hear your experiences.

i have suspended 32 times with a group in new orleans where i'm from called Atone Pain Tribe..... best experience of my life. anyone who wants to do it should just do it, because you'll only regret missing it not having done it.... seriously it's life changing

I have only gone to shows where it is done and I don't think I would do it myself but it is very cool and exciting to see.

I think the first time I saw something like this was the Jim Rhodes Circus.

There is a big show this weekend (Fetish Ball) that happens once a year around this time that everyone goes to for sure. Not extremely huge scene here but some dedicated people.

I always wanted to, I like a bit of pain, but I always wonder if the people sticking hooks into other people's backs have any type of medical training...like, where major blood vessels and nerves are and stuff. I've seen hooks go pretty deep into some people.

As far as I know, it's safe if you're with experinced people. And it looks pretty awesome...if I ever do it I'll email you :) I really want to try it, probably end up one day.

i dont think i could handle it. i saw a ducumentary on it though. alot dont have medical training and accidently peirce ig veins and arteries and can be very serious. infection is also an issue.

but they said that the number one problem is that alot of peoples bodies go into shock due to the trauma. even if they dont feel much pain.

however i heard that the ones that go weel are incredible and get a major endophin like "high"

Have to say I have never actually seen it done in person, just alot of stuff online. You wouldn't believe how Conservative my town is even though it is the home of UVA. I have to say though it reminds me of something out of the He**raiser movies and is intriguing.

I have not done it... I'm too heavy right now. My Peircer does it on occasion tho... i haven't been there when he has yet.. but i've seen all the pictures. I'm facinated by it too... I'll do it one day when I'm not so heavy :)
