I recently changed my diet awhile back to something much more healthy and I have noticed my farts smell MUCH worse then when I didn't eat so great, AND I seem to be farting much more!
I usually eat things along the lines of fresh fruit, fresh veggies, oatmeal, and a sandwhich on wheat. I've tried both soy milk and regular milk and still the same result. I've also been exercising and have even lost quite a bit of weight. But my farts are god awful, I'm not trying to be funny, but they are extremely bad. Why is this happening when I have a much healthier diet then I did before?
I do have a pretty significant acid reflux problem in which I have to take a heart burn pill everyday. I wonder if thats the problem. Anyone have any input?

As you mentioned that you've changed your diet to a more healthy diet, and that's what is causing the problem, then i'd say that your body is adjusting to the change and most importantly because of the healty food that you are eating, its purifying your body and blood, and this GOOD food is taking off all that was bad inside , years of eating bad food won't go off in a fortnight or weeks but may take few months for the body to effectively cleanse itself. its awful, but the only way to speed it up and let go off that stink would be to stick to that good diet and i think it should change .... and drink lots of water... it will definately help!!
all the best!

A healthy diet high in fibre is known to create more gas. See the reference listed below in sources.

Your body is digesting new foods...it's adjusting. Leave it alone, keep doing what you do, and you'll get used to the smell...just warn people before you happen to squeeze one off.

Stop drinking milk for a few days and see if that helps.
