they will always come and go. look at Kevin Trudeau's new book and now the craze with people using HCG for fat loss. that was already done back in the 70's with disastrous results once it hit the mainstream public.

No they do not because if you think about it, fad diets often have extreme and unattainable eating requirements. For example, Cabbage soup only, or nothing but watermelon. No person can sustain a diet like that for life, so the second they begin to eat a "normal" diet, the weight comes back on, and usually more. Also, by following these ridiculous "diets" a person does not learn to count calories. When a person learns how to count calories and figure out proper portions and eat healthy foods and exercises, they have a better chance of keeping it off because they eat a well balanced, healthy diet, that is sustainable and does not make them feel deprived.

Hi,
I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.diet-fun-now.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $6.95 shipping and handling.
Good luck!

As long as the world still has desperate overweight people. People tend to try diets without research once they determine that something drastic must be done about their weight. Were they more trim, the diets might seem crazy or unhealthy, but once you place your appearance above your health, you'll try anything.

until there's a miracle pill that will cause you to just drop pounds in days for real, or as long as there still always a need and social pressure to be thin and inpatient people, there will always be fad diets.
