I have never heard of anyone giving gifts to their significant other for the wedding...I mean, that's cool if you want to but it's not required, and it's not tradition either, as far as I know.
And I've been to alot of weddings...including my own..(8yrs now!)
You are already giving each other the best gift anyway...your giving yourselves to each other. That is the true gift.
So......if you really want to..I think it should be personal and special....like a framed picture of the two of you when you first met......you know..something very personal....something that represents the both of you...remember it's a wedding day, not a birthday or Christmas...so don't give a "generic" present........

I personally don't think it's necessary to give each other gifts because you're giving yourself to him and he's giving himself to you. I had just recently heard of the idea of giving a wedding gift. When I was much younger I bought a key that was styled like an old gate key and it says "My Heart" on it. I kept that so I could look at it next to my jewelry box for many years and remember that I was waiting for the right man to give that to. I plan to give it to my fiance on our wedding day. But that was something I'd always wanted to do and hadn't thought of it like a wedding gift.

I got my wife a diamond pendant as her wedding gift. She didn't get me anything :( But I'd suggest getting something that will stay and remind him that you love him even when you;re not around. Maybe a nice watch or an engraved knife (if he's into that) Or something collectible that he likes. You want it to be something that will last as long as the marriage. You're his bride-to-be, you should know what he's into better than anyone. Just give it meaning and he will love it. And YOU!

I gave my husband a waterproof digital camera and we used it on the honeymoon. He loved playing with it and was so surprised. Also, a nice wristwatch (with an inscription) is always a good gift. A framed picture of you blowing him a kiss might be sweet. If you want something unique, you could try that naming a star after him thing.

Other than yourself, you love and your virginity which are the 3 most precious gifts. You could make him a scrapbook or something similar, which contained pictures, emotions and your feelings for him. Also you could do a diary of your feelings leading up tot he day, I'm sure he'd love to know what you were feeling!

The usual gift for the groom given by the bride is a watch. You can also give him some cuff links. Congratulations!

This is new to me. It's the same as a birthday party, the party girl has to give all her guest a present. I think this is crazy. Why should you want to give something that you don't even no what the person wants. Especially as your having to ask us out here.

Get your man something cool from The Sharper Image. Plenty of James Bond type guy gadgets he'll surely love to receive.
