I recently recieved 2 tickets one for going 27 on a 20 in a school zone and one for no insurance by a ******** sherriff in. I was on my way to get insurance that day since my car was not running at all. I was coming up a hill and the sun must have got into my eyes and blinded me, so i couldnt see the yellow light flashing for the school zone. What should i do, hire a traffic attorney or go at it by myself?

You may have a defense for the speeding ticket, but you admit that you did not have insurance and were driving on a public roadway!! 7 over is rather strict. If you have oversize tires on your vehicle, it could throw your speedometer off by several miles per hour. You may want to get the speedometer calibrated. If it is off, you can use that as part of your defense!
The famous "I was on my way to get insurance when I got stopped" defense is not going to work, Depending on your state laws, you may want to hire a lawyer to see if the charges can be reduced, and you can avoid other penalties. You will, at the very least, have to pay the amounts of the fines!
You can not blame anyone but yourself for the insurance ticket! You should not have been driving without insurance. If you were on your way to get insurance, you should have used another form of transportation!

you should NOT have been driving an uninsured car which YOU KNEW was not insured to get the insurance. As far as speeding in a school zone, what if you had hit some kid and killed him or her due to your negligence? Don't make excuses for what the sherriff did--he was DOING HIS JOB--to protect the public from drivers like you who don't care about anyone but themselves. Be a man--pay the fine and MAKE SURE you have insurance at ALL TIMES--it's the law for your protection also.

You might as well pay the ticket and move on. Sorry to be so blunt, but the law says you cannot drive without insurance, period. There are no exceptions for "I was on my way to get insurance." So you're not going to get anywhere in court, attorney or no attorney.

Ummm, if you were going over 25 in a school zone and had no insurance then the options are pay the ticket... or pay the ticket, or pay an attorney to fight the ticket followed by paying the ticket.

I am assuming that you got your auto insurance? If you did, take your proof of insurance and your two tickets to the court and show them the proof. You may get lucky and they will dismiss the insurance ticket with a fine. As far as the speeding ticket, that ones up to you. And its Sheriff, one r two ff's.

GO TO COURT AND ASK THE JUDGE IF YOU CAN TAKE THE DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE AND TELL HIM JUST WHAT YOU SAID HERE AND MAYBE HE WILL TRY AND HELP YOU.
GOOD LUCK.
