so we have been messing around with this guy for about a month now, and we had sex this weekend for the first time ..... the only time he texts is when he wants some or when he wants to get his hair braided. the thing is i have never never bothered to initiate anything either... i never call or text i just reply to his. last week he sent a message on facebook asking me to go to his room and just sleep next to him after i get off work in at 7 in the morning. i never went. the next day i asked he what was upto he never replied ....tit for tat iguess.
the other thing is he is really good friends with my ex and i think that makes him uncomfortable ..i really like this guy... i think.... so how can make him want more than sex? or at least find out if the face that he is friends wiht my ex is what is holding him back?

Keep all meetings with the guy away from any place easily accessible to a bed, and start talking with him instead. Since you already gave him the dessert, he may not want to find out what's for dinner. Next time, get to KNOW a guy before sleeping with him so this does not happen again.

why not ask him?? ---- if you are after more than sex then you need to be able to talk to each other about anything --- see if he wants more than sex --- and who cares what your ex thinks??? --- he is your ex --- let him get over it --- whatever its his problem not yours and if the guy thinks more of your ex than you --- well you can see where his priorities lie and you would be best rid of him ---- best wishes
