I just adopted a girl pitbull from the local animal shelter. She is 3-4 months of age and weighs in at 26 lbs, although she hardly looks it, she is so short and teeny weeny still. I know she's got growth packed away in that little puppy body, just curious what a rough estimate would be. I expect she won't be much more than 50 lbs full grown, because she's a girl and she can't be taller than 18 inches right now. What do you think??

Oh there so sweet when there babies. Too cute.
Anyways, your little girl will most likely be 65 to 75lbs. She's tall and heavy for her age. So she will likely be a pretty good size girl.
It's important to note, these beauties are capable of carrying around serious muscle weight. So weight will be determined on the quality of food and how active she is.
Good luck with your pup.

At 4 months she is bigger then my girl was. She is 55 lbs. now. I would guess you are going to have about a 60 lb girl. My Pit at a year old was a skinny little thing. In the next year her head got so much wider and she turned into a bunch of muscle. You have another year and a half of growing to go through.
Here is a shot that shows Honey at a little over a year. She is a lot bigger then the Beagle, Snoopy, now. Bear is the little guy.

Probably about 50-70 pounds. They usually stay pretty short and stocky. I used to have a pitbull pup, but my parents made me get rid of him. Too bad because he was such a cool dog. Very playful and fun.

it depends on the blood line. from my understanding, stafforshire pit terriers are BUILT and american pit bulls are a little slimmer.
i have a female that averages 65-70lbs depending on the season(she hates going out in the snow) but one of my co-workers has one that is only 50lbs full grown.
