The replacement to Joe Torre will effect Christians, Non Christians, and Athiest. While Choosing the pope will only effect Catholics.

Well, there are probably as many Armchair Managers as there are Armchair College of Cardinals so it's hard to say. Since the Pope is world-wide though, I gotta go with him on this one.
