Is my english too bad, to date a girl ?

Hi,

i am since 2 Weeks in the USA :-) (just for visiting somebody)

This is just a question, I just want to know, how important that is, to speak english.

So my english is OK - just ok. I can understand, but I cant say anything.

Do you mean no girl would meet me or something like that, because my english is bad? Is this soo important ?

From what I see, your English is very good, in fact a lot better than some other people's English, as a matter of fact. My dating days are long over, but when I was in school, most of the men I dated were from other countries. I never had any problem understanding and communicating with them and I always had a wonderful time. If a girl doesn't want to date you because she thinks your English is not good enough, then that simply means she's not for you. Find someone who loves the sound of a foreign accent. Believe me, it won't be that difficult. :-))

I hated when people were saying I sound white or trying to be white. I would say this to you: do not just limit yourself because you are leaning toward white guys. There is not a thing wrong with interracial dating. you should be dating someone because of they way they make you feel, how well they treat you. You maybe missing out on something good because looking at the color and not the person. i have dated on both sides of the fence. You have sweeties and you have A$$holes on every side! so do you limit you will date. and do not think you are better than anyone in this world because you speak different or might have more. the 1/4 japanese and 3/4 black crap means nothing.

Some girls wouldn't be interested, but some will be really impressed that you're interested in them enough to deal with the language barrier. So I think you'll be okay so long as you are patient and work on it. And explain you understand more than you can speak, that will help.

It depends on the girl.. each person is unique and comes with it their different personalities.
One girl may like you because of your personality or attitude regardless of how you speak.. or a girl may be really particular and that it really turns them on if you speak very well..
as for me, it doesnt matter if you speak well or not..
but in our country, the philippines, it determines your educational attainment and sometimes your status in life..

Your English seems pretty good! Most American girls don't know the difference between the words "to" and "too"!

You need to at least be able to get your point across. The major thing is to remember not to come on too strong. You do not know the culture, and you may offend a lady if you are too aggressive when on the date.

Some girls find a language barrier romantic. If you are nice, you'll find a date. Then, you can communicate with gestures and notes. Plus, some Americans speak German.

Well, the only problem is that you need to be able to ask her out in English or at least flirt with her or something so she will want to go out with you.
