I'm with you. I don't want to smell it. Most people won't say pull over so I can fart. It's embarrassing and then they try to sneak it. I do think it's funny when they try and then it's loud.

I think you're rude for expecting the world to succumb to your desires.
You actually expect some one to pull over, step outside of the car, pass gas, and then come back inside the car, all because a sick person passing gas is too much for you to bear. That's ridiculous.

Yes it is flat out rude to pass gas in a car. It's a pet peeve of mine too. Bear in mind, that sometimes, if someone is sick, it's difficult to control. We've all been down that road before. I agree, they should ask to be let out to pass gas. Also, if someone is sick, they shouldn't be in a car, unless they're going to a doctor or hospital.

I think what you are calling for is too extreme! On the other hand everyone has a responsibility to try not to inconvenience others and every effort should be made to try and control! However, we all know that farting is not easy to control and so this act has to be treated with kids gloves and better laughed off then condemned!

as long as the windows are rolled down I see nothing wrong with it. If it bothers you that much why not keep a can of air freshener in your car

Haha, to put it bluntly... if you are that anal about it then I suggest you be the one to step outta the car. Or open the window and stick your head out for like 10 minutes or something.

As long as they open the window and say excuse me after, it shouldn't be a problem. It is really uncomfortable to hold that in.

I think it's even ruder to mention something that someone can't necessarily control. I hope you remember this question the next time YOU feel ill in a car.

Its actually really unhealthy to hold in a fart, held in long enough, they come out the other end as a burp.....so let it rip I reckon.
