So I've been with my bf for about 6 great months now... and I've known him for about a year and a half.. I met him online... and things are amazing, really.
But with this whole situation, my family [immediate that is] really doesn't seem to understand... with what it's about ya know? ...
So to show my point, my sister... is quite the judgemental type.. and probably thinks I am hiding stuff from her... but the matter of the fact is, is that I don't want her downgrading my bf just because he doesn't live near me...
She knows nothing about him because I really dun feel I should HAVE to tell her... we are not even close to begin with so why does it all of a sudden matter ya know?
It's been bugging me for the past months.. but I've come to realize that I shouldn't care one bit what anyone has to say... I am still gonna do what I want regardless....
But to further get my question out there.. I would just like to know can I be able to let her know about him... without worryin myself.?

You don't say how old you are. I am going with the assumption that you are of age or close to it. My answer would be different if you are younger.It is your business and she should stay out of it. She should not be so judgmental. Especially since she does not know what she is talking about. There are a lot of things that you are going to do in life that other people are going to disagree with. Don't worry about them. Your life is about you and you need to make of it what you want. If you want to tell her then tell her. If she starts to run her mouth tell her that you do not need nor want her opinion. I hope things work out for you.

To be honest, this is your business, and what anyone in your family thinks doesn't really matter. As long as he's good to you, then you aren't obligated to tell anyone about him that you don't want to.
