The no job thing is big, I mean huge...really. When you have a job, no matter what it is, it shows maturity, self respect, & responsibility. If you can't take care of yourself, no one else is going to want to get involved with you, picking up the tab for you all the time. Ugh! Besides, it makes you feel better about yourself if you have your own pad, and your own money, and can spend a little cash on your date. You can still have tons of fun! You are in the prime of your life...have fun and enjoy it while you can....but you are supposed to be progressing into "grown-up" mode now! Do you live at home still?
Hanging out with the folks is kinda wierd at your age too....at strip joints/bars/etc....most people wouldn't approach a guy hanging with his folks!
And---don't take it wrong, but if you think you are so "hot", could you be coming off a little bit egotistical when your out socializing? Maybe you're not intentionally, but that's a huge turn off too. You should stop trying so hard, and whom ever it is may just suprisingly pop up sooner than you think!

Theres nothing wrong with telling your parents your gonna go to a strip joint on your 18 birthday, every guy goes there the minute they turn 18, my parents knew i went lol, there are some stuff you can mention around your parents.

Relax!! You are fine. And take your dad to the store, make him buy some beer, come back and have a couple. Better yet, throw a little party, have a couple of beers. that'll help loosen you up. hang out with your little brother and his pals. Invite some girls and guys over, hang out, chill out and once again, RELAX! You'll be fine. You don't have to be 21 to have a beer with your parents at home, ok?

Good luck!

I am thinking it is a father son thing. maybe dad knows he can go with him or without him. Dad should go just so they both feel safe. Letting go is a hard thing. I have smoked since i was 16 and i am 24 now but still don't in front of my mom it is a respect thing.

You seems to be very insecured. do something that will get the attention of your parent and will convince them that you are also productive and can be depended on.

At your age, you've got to help your family, help you dad doing some house works, like maintaining you surrounding and maybe doing some house maintenance work.

Doing this and showing to your dad that you can also be of help instead of very dependent. He will appreciate your works and will be rewarded for what you are doing..

You should be having a good time and enjoy yourself while you have no responsibility's, without getting into trouble. But there's nothing wrong with you. Your probably not as open to your parents as your brother. Talk to your dad, open up to him.

Sounds to me you need some confidence. I am sure your dad at least knows you know about strip clubs. Why don't you take your lil bro there for his b-day..

My parents were very open about things like that, but not all parents are. Your brother was just being himself. I am sure that your parents, shocked or not, still love him. What's the harm?

Is English not your first language?

Hard to understand what you said, let alone locate the question.
