how long will marijuana stay in my system?

i am 5'3" an d weigh about 160. i took one of those home tests but it was a premilinary result meaning it need to be sent off to a lab. that was two weeks ago. i smoked about a 1/2 a week and it has been at least 36 days snice i last smoked

Regular daily smokers can take up to 45 days. Occasional, meaning 1-2 a week can take about 30 days. Once in a blue moon smokers might get away with 15 days. I have taken countless random drug tests over the past 25yr of my career. I have also enjoyed a toke or two during those years but never busted a drug test. Sometimes the crews would hear through the grapevines that a random drug test would be going on the next morning. First thing in the morning I would drink so much grapefruit juice that I wanted to puke. I would go to the bathroom before I started drinking the juice. I would drink grapefruit juice until I got to the job site. Grapefruit is a huge fat burner and THC in pot is stored in fat cells. By the time I piss in their bottle they are getting grapefruit juice. I guess I just got lucky not getting caught. I am so thankful I no longer have to piss in a bottle anymore. Even more thankful for BC Bud.

Depending on how much you smoke and amount of body fat you have it could stay for a long time. My friend tested positive 2 months after abstaining (due to high usage and moderate body fat).
THC can be detected in the hair for up to 3 years (unless you get it shaved or cut really short of course.)

i believe it's 3 months. they can take a hair sample and find out if you have any in your system.
