1. An Atheist is someone who does not believe in God. This often is realized through a long logical process, however, if one accepts the claim of an Atheist without understanding the argument, they may still possess the misunderstanding of the world required to believe in magic.

Anything that exists and any phenomenon which occurs is natural, and therefore not magical. Not knowing this could allow belief in Magic.

2. There may be for the same reasons as above.

3. Trick question. The "mainstream" is the majority, and not the most educated of the population. They use terms like "supernatural" when smart people would use "things that don't actually happen". However, once again, such belief is possible from an Atheist who accepts the claim without understanding the argument.

What's the fascination with atheism? So many people are asking these types of questions, although I will admit that yours are at least original.

While I don't speak for all atheists, here are my answers:

1) I would suppose not because, as I understand it, Wiccans believe in multiple deities. Atheists do not.

2) I don't know much about vampires, but so long as they don't involve some belief about a deity, I guess an antheist could believe that vampires exist. I don't.

3) It seems to me that the notion of "supernatural powers" is antithetical to atheism, so I would say no on this question.

1. wiccans are different from atheists because they believe in deities. atheists do not believe in magic because there is no science or proof or evidence to back it up.
2.i doubt it. unless you mean psi-vampires which are a plausible possibility. then again vampires were people with physiological and psychological disorders that people did not understand so in a sense there are but not like in myths as they have been exaggerated or created for amusement.
3. this is somewhat difficult to answer. some people would consider my beliefs to be supernatural based even though they are based on science and philosophy. so it depends of the what people define as "supernatural"

2 and 3 depend on the atheist

No...the whole point of being an aethiest is to not believe in any higher power at all. It's not so much that they disbelieve in the Christian god, they disbelieve everyone's god and all the little things that come with that, such as vampires and magic. Those things are just manipulation of higher power, and they don't think that ever existed in the first place.

These aren't atheist questions. Atheism has nothing to do with anything you've listed. There might be atheists who believe in magic, and there might be atheists that believe in vampires, but they are completely unrelated. Atheists don't believe in God, so I doubt too many atheists believe in other ridiculus things.

I'm sure the answer is yes to all three - there are 'some' - that is to say: a very, very small minority of - atheists who believe in such nonsense. I can't imagine anybody who doesn't believe in one supernatural power to believe in any others, though.

At least you spelled ATHEIST correctly.

1, 2 and 3: No, no and no.

Atheists do not believe in your god, anyone else’s god nor any other type of imaginary being.

Stephen Roberts: I contend that we are both atheists.
I just believe in one fewer god than you do.
When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

I'll just repeat that last sentence.
When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

It is possible to practice religion without a God. Buddhists do it all the time. Rationalists will most likely have a problem with anything supernatural.
