Help with some annoying little twin sisters?

I'm a 17 year old guy with two twin 5 year old sisters. They have too much energy. Anna wakes me up by tickling my feet; when I'm trying to do my homework, Emma will cry if I don't give her "pretend homework" to do next to me. They both smack my butt when I'm brushing my teeth, and they follow me around until I sit down and then they jump in my lap.

I have a girlfriend, and when she rings the bell, if they get their first, they tell her I don't want to go out with her anymore (not true), and when I am talking with my girlfriend, they ask her if she has fake boobs. They take my cellphone and call people with their idea of a prank phone call (shouting the alphabet or saying "we want dinner" [??]) and want me to, and I quote "teach us how to swim in the bathtub"!

Take it from an identical twin with a big brother herself .... we are all well into our thirties now and my brother is my best friend. We annoyed him too when we were kids - honestly, I think we drove nuts! But, little ones do that. They think it's funny and cute. Remember that they are only 5 and they want the attention of their big brother and his friends.
Talk to your parents and see if let them know what it is that bugs you the most. Also, sitting the girls down and letting them know that you love them but what they did was "not so nice" ... put it in terms that they can understand ... & you'll have to remind them to be on ther best behavior - again, they're only 5 and whatever it is that you said to them 10 minutes ago might be forgotten. Either way, remember that they love you and in the years to come, you'll miss their antics. ;)

Tell them that it's wrong to talk to your girlfriend like that, & that it's not OK to use your cellphone. Make them understand that you can't be bothered when you're doing your homework. Get your parents to back you up. If this doesn't work, ask them if they want to live to age 6! Oh...and lock the bathroom door.

Sounds like you really need to install a keyed lock on your bedroom door to keep the little buggers out of your stuff.

There is a method to "lock" your cell phone... look in the owner's guide.

These kids are starving for attention. Barter with them... your attention in exchange for their good behavior.
Have a date night with them. Say you will rent their favorite video and make popcorn with them if they are good... and spell out the "good" behaviors you need to see.
There are lots of cool things you can do with them that will hopefully wear them out. How about roller skating? Trip to the park? Zoo?

your parents need to address this. they need to put their foot down. some of it is just them liking you alot becaus eyou are their brother. my young bro used to drive me insanen and sorry theres nothign that you can do about that. but the questions about fake boobs is totally innapropriate and they should be told so. also they shouldnt be allowed to call whoever they want. if you have to hide your cell then do so- if your parents wont disciplin them then mayeb you need to. if they ask your gf in your presence about her boobs then you need to immediately say - "hey! that is not an appropriate question to ask someone!" and say it sternly and mean it! they sound like they need a little more discipline to me...

Enjoy them while you can. In a year or two you will be out of the house, and you will miss them terribly. In the meantime, ask your parents to control them.

They adore you & little sisters are supposed to annoy big brothers!!!! If you are patient & gracious - you will be their hero forever. They're very lucky to have an awesome brother like yourself!
