A non-stop flight from Toronto to Vancouver will take 5 to 5 1/2 hours, depending on the aircraft being used. They fly at about the same altitudes, but different aircraft have slightly different cruising speeds.

You will almost never get a tailwind when travelling east to west across Canada, as prevailing winds are from the west, making headwinds common. They vary in their intensity / speed, so the flight time can also vary up or down a bit.

The winds make a significant difference, as you will see when travelling from Vancouver to Toronto. Here you will see a reduction of of about 30 minutes in travel time, as the winds are from that direction, and thus are often called tailwinds.

The aircraft will actually fly at the same speed in both directions, because aircraft speed is measured in terms of how fast they are flying through the air, and thus called airspeed, but the actual distance travelled over the land, called groundspeed, varies upwards or downwards, depending on how the winds affect the aircraft, and groundspeed is what you use to measure the travel time.

A direct flight from Quebec to Toronto takes 1:35 minutes. A direct flight from Toronto to Vancouver takes about 5:02 minutes. That's 6:37 minutes of flight time. Why don't you just look at your scheduled arrival time on your ticket to see what time you will be arriving?? There is a 3 hour time difference. If a direct flight leaves Quebec for Vancouver and it says departure time is 5:30 am in Quebec, it's actually 2:30 am in Vancouver. Say for example a 7 hour direct flight from Quebec to Vancouver has a departure time of 5:30 am it will arrive in Vancouver at 9:30 am local time, but it will be 12:30 in Quebec. All arrival and departure time are in the time zone there are in.
