Q: Why was George Jefferson breathing so heavily?

A: He was feeling "Wheezy!"

Man, I must be old.

It's a reference to The Jeffersons, a show from the early 1980s.

George Jefferson had a wife named Louise, but he called her "ouisy" (pronounced "wheezy").

So, if he's "feeling wheezy", it means he's touching his wife and that's what's making him breath heavily.

OK, does this make sense now?

Well, it's a great joke.

Why didn't Smokey the Bear's wife have cubs?
Because every time she got hot he beat her with a shovel.

Mmmm ok..here's 1 for you:

How impotent can you be?

A woman goes to her doctor, complaining that her husband is 300% impotent.

The doctor says, "I'm not sure I understand what you mean."

She says, "Well, the first 100% you can imagine. In addition, he burned his
tongue and broke his finger!"
