If I delete IE7, will it automatically go back to IE6 without any problems? I'm thinking this will eliminate many problems I'm having since that upgrade.

I am running IE7 on both my lap tops with no problems, Go to Microsoft Downloads and reinstall this should fix any problem. You can go back to IE6 from add and remove programs, also can find instructions on how to revert back to IE6 at Microsoft Support and down loads.
Hope this helps

Before you return to IE6, make a list of things that are giving you a problem and contact manufacturers or whoever for help.

After I downloaded IE7, my printer would not work. I contacted HP. Fortunately, HP was aware of the glitch and had prepared a fix.
Downloaded the fix, problem solved.

I went back to IE6 from IE7, if your problems were security problems like mine... my securities were on permanent high alert and cookies disabled... dialog boxes wouldn't open.. ect.

Anyways, when i converted back to IE6 my security settings were all still set to the IE7 preference, just fool around with it, nothing is un-fixable when you convert back.

it will cause more problems and expose you to security holes that have been patched.

And it will probably upgrade itself, assuming you could ever get it to work.

If you don't want to use IE 7, may I recommend Firefox at Mozilla.org? I haven't used IE except for windows upgrades and testing html layouts on any of my machines (dozens) for the last 5 years or so.
